Equatorial Guinea – this tropical gem in the Gulf of Guinea is virtually unknown with travelers. Tourism infrastructure hardly exists as the government clearly focuses on the economic development, with the oil industry as its backbone. Beyond the main cities of Malabo and Bata, however, the country offers a wide kaleidoscope of tropical Africa: volcanoes, rainforest, waterfalls, and sandy beaches.
The focus of wildlife enthusiasts is definitely on primate observation.
