More than 100 islands spread over a huge area in the Indian Ocean. The Seychelles islands are often mentioned in the same context as Mauritius or the Maldives islands, yet they stand for a completely different world. Nature is dominating, as civilization and tourism still secretly hold back. Conservation of nature is part of the state's constitution, and many islands are being completely restored into their pristine ecological state.
Some of these newly created paradises can be visited, however, the established islands offer so many great experiences to the traveller, too.
