Congo (Kinshasa)

Congo – endless, mysterious rainforests. The resource-rich country nearly covers the whole of the Congo basin and offers an overwhelming diversity of spectacular landscapes. It is home to an endemic flora and fauna: only here Okapis and Bonobos roam the forests.
Virunga is Africa's oldest National Park and extends along the Eastern border with Uganda. There is probably no other place where the passionate explorer may combine such a variety of activities: traditional game drives, mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, hiking to the crater rim of an active volcano or the ice-capped peaks of the Rwenzoris.
